Dan Downing earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and economics at Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He is president and C.E.O. of Downing & Associates, Inc. and has served in that capacity since resigning from Internal Revenue Service. He has accumulated over 24 years in accounting and tax work experience. This experience includes 2-years as an auditor for the Office of the Inspector General's office and 10 years as an Internal Revenue Agent.

Dan is an Enrolled Agent (E.A.), a licensed practitioner authorized to represent clients before all taxing authorities in all states, and must maintain enrollment status by annual continuing education to meet the high standards required by the Department of Treasury, IRS. Dan is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).
